Buc-ee’s, Mudpie and Crowns

I love Buc-ee’s, Mudpie and Crowns! Really. When I’m on the road here in Texas there is, thankfully, a Buc-ee’s conveniently waiting for me.

Buc-ee’s not only has a million clean ladies bathrooms, okay slight exaggeration, but I have never had to wait for a bathroom stall, it has just about everything you could want. Including a few of my favorite things!

After the restroom visit, the first thing I check on is their RTIC tumblers. At a price of $9.99, that’s a super bargain! And they come in many beautiful colors! Sadly, they were sold out on this trip. Water bottles only.

Next up, Mudpie! I love Mudpie’s collection of dish ware and utensils.

Boy, does Buc-ee’s have a ton of Mudpie to choose from!

My favorite piece from this trip was the “dressed to the Tea” set. I’m a tea drinker first thing in the morning, so this is right up my alley!

Once I tore myself away from the Mudpie pieces, I took a never-ending quick stroll around the rest of the store and found quite a few crowns!

If you have followed my blog at all, you know how much I love crowns! Yes, I am the Queen of Everything, at least here in Tammyland!

I found a complete display of crowns, mostly ornaments. Could a crown ornament Christmas tree be in my future? Quite possibly!

It was so hard not to buy them all!

My favorite on this trip, and the one that I brought home, was this sweet ornament! Winner, winner chicken dinner.

Okay, I’ve gushed about my favorites long enough! They also have quite a few other things that are fun at Buc-ee’s. It’s not all about bathrooms, Mudpie and crowns.

They have the sweetest selection of children’s clothing and toys!

Not sure why, but this collection of wind up music boxes fascinated me!

Isn’t this pig sweet?

They have so much more to offer than the few things I’ve shared with you. I’m convinced that if you lost your luggage a stop here and you could totally out fit yourself. They have everything. Food, clothing, toys, home decor, and gasoline for your car. I’m gushing so much that you would think that Buc-ee’s paid me to share with you , but sadly no. I just love a good, clean rest stop.

Once I had my fix of Buc-ee’s, Mudpie and crowns, it was time to hit the road again! Much to The Hub’s dismay, I’m sure there will be another Buc-ee’s  just down the road!

Have a wonderful day!

  1. Only in Texas can we stop to get gas but also get deer cubes, beautiful decor, Mud Pie pieces, jewelry, a new smoker, bbq, beer, and lots of other essentials.

However, they do not have doughnuts!! Kolaches yes but don’t ask for a doughnut. 🙂

    1. Stacey,
You are so right! They do have just about everything. I try to stay away from the food sections, which is very hard to do since those areas are a BIG part of the store.

  2. We don’t have Buc-ee’s here in WV, wasn’t even sure what it was until I read your post. Is it a gas station/retail ir restaurant/retail? We have Cracker Barrel restaurant/retail. Regardless, I LOVE that crown ornament! I think I need one. Note to self: check Cracker Barrel!

    1. Sorry Rita,
I guess I should have gone into greater detail about just exactly what Buc-ee’s is! It’s just about the biggest gas station on earth – anything bigger and you would get lost! Come to think of it I have searched for The Hubs a few times… the food sections are massive. I try to hit the restroom and do a few quick runs through while The Hubs fills up on gas and refills our drinks. If you don’t find a crown ornament, let me know and I would be happy to send you one. I will be heading to OK sometime in the next few weeks and there is one on the way!

  3. I have never been to Buc-ees but we go by one when we go to visit our daughter and family in Irving. We always stay with them just as long as we can, hard to leave those granddaughters. I also collect crowns and I love your idea of a crown Christmas tree! I also collect roosters and I’ve been told they have those also. I don’t really need another one since I have 90-something, but I will probably buy one the next time I see one I like. Can’t hurt! Love you posts, have a wonderful week! Regina

    1. Regina Buc-ee’s is definitely worth the stop – at least once! The last time I was there they did have roosters. My mom collected roosters also, they have such beautiful ones…. So happy to have you stop by, I always love to make new friends!
