Christmas in The Master Bedroom

Christmas bed

Today is the last day the gals from Decorate With Us will be sharing Christmas in the master bedroom.  One last peak at the entire room!

Adding Christmas to your bedroom doesn’t have to be hard.

It doesn’t have to be full blown over the top either.

Mine certainly isn’t.

We like to keep things simple in here.

So how did I decorate my bedroom for Christmas?

Come on, I’ll show you!

Christmas Bed

The Bed

The focal point in my bedroom is of course my bed.

This year I decided to go with a white background, then add tons of color.

I repeated the color scheme from my Christmas tree.

My new red with white snowflake pillows make me happy every time I look at them!

If you missed it, you can see how I put it all together here.

Decorated Christmas headboard

I also added in some garland to the headboard that is the same as the ones on my Christmas tree.

This is super easy to do and packs a lot of punch.

Christmas Tree

The Christmas Tree

I’m not sure what makes me happier to look at.

The bed or the Christmas tree!

The tree is full of fun, whimsical, colorful ribbon, ornaments and lights.

How could you not be happy looking at it?

I shared my tree with you here and you can see where I got all of the fun things.

Christmas Vignette

Hidden Treasures

We have the bed and tree decorated.

Now What?

I add what I like to think of as hidden treasures.

Things that draw your eye around the room.

Garland, and bow on headboard

Pictures or signs on the walls.

christmas vignette

Small vignettes on the side tables, dressers and armoires.

I love adding small decorated areas that make you smile and add to the overall decor of the room!

It’s like a small Easter egg hunt everyday.

Christmas in the master bedroom

That’s it for Christmas in the master bedroom.

I hope that you enjoyed it and got a little inspirations for decorating your bedroom.

Until next time….

    1. Thanks Terrie. I love using those bold, happy colors. It’s a fine line between using the neutrals and the bold and keeping everyone who lives in the room happy! Ha!
