Getting Ready for Beep’s Baby Shower

We are getting ready for Beep’s Baby Shower. The shower is only 12 days away! Yikes!

I feel like we’ve gotten a lot done. At the same time, I feel like we have a long way to go. So many decisions. I’m kind of  getting anxious. (Yes, I was the kid who did her homework the day it was assigned!)

We are going with a “glam” theme featuring Beep’s nursery colors. Turquoise, lilac and white. So Pretty!

We decided to serve cupcakes instead of a large cake. I already had this plain jane cupcake holder. Cute, but very plain! My latest project was to make it a little bit prettier. It would be an understatement to say that this is a work in progress.

Every glam party needs a tutu, so I broke out the tulle. Once I finished tying many yards of tulle to the ribbon, I tied it around the lower level of the cupcake holder. Ta Da! Instant tutu!

Next,  tiny glue dots attach turquoise rhinestone ribbon to the edge of the trays.

I started laughing when I saw this picture. Rhinestones a little crooked much? Definitely fixing that!

The rhinestones match the tulle much better than the picture shows. If I ever get the rhinestones straightened out, I think I’m going to like it!  Maybe.

We still need to decide what flavor of cupcakes to serve… On a positive note, we do have a lot of things finished.

Remember these doors? We are going to use them at the baby shower. We will remove the Love sign from the doors.

Then we will be add this Mirror to the center door. After the shower we will be painting the letter A to match Beep’s room.

We’ve made corsages for the Mommy to be and the Grandmas’ to be!

We’ve got all of the shower games finished and prizes bought.

And a few more decorations to put out on table that are just for fun!

Honestly, getting ready for Beep’s baby shower has been so much fun.

Almost as fun as shopping for baby clothes! Hmmm…. could it be that all of the shopping might be the reason we aren’t done with the shower? Nah!

Hope you have a wonderful day!

  1. This is so adorable! Love all the details.

I gave a baby shower at our house a couple of years ago. It was so much fun with the help of Pinterest. 🙂

  2. So cute. It’ll be a hit, no doubt. I could use a set of those hinged doors right now! We just sold a screen from our booth space and we’re scrambling. I can’t stand seeing others’ booths around ours. 😛
