It’s Been One of Those Weeks

It’s been one of those weeks! I’ve started a lot of projects, but I haven’t completed one yet.

I have been like a hamster on a wheel. There is a lot going on, but not a lot is getting done. The week has been full of shopping, physical therapy, cleaning, sewing, crafting, decorating and taking shelter from a tornado! I’m worn out. It’s only Tuesday.

Since I haven’t completed anything worth showing you, I thought I would give you a few teasers of all the great things to come.

In preparation for Valentines Day, I did a little sewing.

While I was out shopping I found my new most “favoritest” material. This material is the hottest pink you will ever find. Which is probably why I love it so much! It reminds me of all of the chinoisery that is so much the rage right now.

I have been doing some crafting. Making these place cards and glitter clothes pins for my Valentines table. It just wouldn’t be Valentines Day without a  a lot of little glitter.

During one of the many rainy days that we had this past week, I started giving this sweet little table a new look.

And last, but not least, the pets and I spent a portion of last night taking shelter from a tornado! Neither the cat or the dog were particularly happy to be in a small enclosed space with each other. Truth be told, it wasn’t my favorite way to spend a little time either. I do know that I will be buying toothbrushes and mouthwash for both pets in the near future! Luckily, the tornado went right on past the castle and we are all safe and sound.

As I write this, it really doesn’t seem to be that eventful of a week after all. I’m really not sure why it’s been one of those weeks, it just has been one! Hopefully, I will get some things finished up soon so that I can share them with you my dear readers!

Have a wonderful week!

  1. When you have tornado shelter time, everything that might have been a little bit stressful is magnified. We’ve had to do that many times and it’s not fun! So glad you are ok though.
